    Direct Deposit

    For new employees just starting to use direct deposit, or for current employees to make changes on existing direct deposit financial institution allocations, please use the Direct Deposit Form (the file link is below). Employees may choose up to four (4) different checkings or savings accounts for their paycheck to be allocated to.  Proper bank account documents are required. Employees will receive pay advices via district email accounts unless otherwise noted by the employee on the Direct Deposit Form.

    FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act)

    FMLA is for employees who are unable to work due to their own serious health condition, or because they need to care for a parent, spouse or child with a serious health condition. FMLA provides unpaid, job-protected leave that can be taken all at once or intermittently. FMLA is only available to employees who have physically worked 1,250 hours, in the prior year.

    An optional 403(b) tax-deferred retirement plan is offered to all employees, and administered through the Omni Group, Inc.

    Medical Insurance Opt-out/Buy-back

    Eligible employees who decline the medical insurance offered by MRSD and do not enroll in medical benefits during the current fiscal year shall receive a $2,500.00 buyback near the final pay period of the school year. A proof of insurance coverage reminder is sent to all employees in March with requirements noted.

    • An employee cannot receive the medical insurance buyback if the employee is also receiving medical benefits from the district as a dependent of another covered employee.
    • The buyback amount is prorated dependent on date of hire and/or date of declination change.
