Physical Education
Maureen Lord
“Gym is a place.
Physical Education is a learning process that takes place in the
gym. I am not a gym teacher, but a
Physical Educator. In my Physical
Education classes, academics are taught as well as physical fitness,
socialization, team work, interpersonal reaction and the process by which an
individual can cope with achievement as well as defeat. There is much teaching going on and more
learning in one period of Physical Education than one would ever
imagine!”
