Call to Order:  Chairman J. Carnie called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

 

Approval of Minutes: S. Oerman made a motion to approve the minutes of December 19, 2006, as amended.  G. White seconded.  Voted in the affirmative (1 abstention – J. Mazza). 

 

Revenue, Expenditure, Status of Assets and Grant Reports:  K. Chambers distributed Revenue, Expenditure, Status of Assets as of this date.   She noted that from the analysis she has been able to do so far, special education costs are causing over-expenditures in the individual school budgets, but the out-of-district costs are under budget by about the same amount.

 

It was requested that K. Chambers provide the Committee members with the June high school activity accounts summary at the next meeting, and also for that meeting to explain what happens to the interest income on the activity accounts for each of the schools.

Questions were raised about the MRPSOC grant.  It was noted that there were no indirect cost expenses reported in the first two years of the grant.  Committee members asked K. Chambers to look into that and report back at the next meeting.  She was also asked to inquire of the Superintendent about Antioch keeping the MC2 grant.

 

Next Meeting:  Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. at the Monadnock Regional Middle/High School.
