Present: Karen Cota, Bruce Tatro, Jon Kenyon, Chuck Johnson, Colline Dreyfuss, Ken Dassau, Ron Parent, Dave Hodgdon

 

Absent:  Tim Aho, Jason Hill

 

Meeting called to order 7:04pm

Motion to approve minutes from June 9th C. Dreyfuss – 2nd J. Kenyon - Passed

Public Comments: NA

Ron Parent reported that the Gilsum sprinkler was complete and waiting for invoicing. Also the Emerson fuel tank does not need to be replaced as previously thought.  The fuel lines between the tank and the building have to be replaced before 2015 according to state standards.

 

Bruce Tatro questioned the legality of money held over from one year to the next.  L. Biron to check with the state and get back to the committee.  Committee to ask the full board to hold over balance of 2005/2006 to the next year.

 

Ron Parent showed the committee bids for  replacing the cover on the full tank at Emerson.  Motion to accept bid  of $3557.45 C. Dreyfuss – 2nd B. Tatro   -  Passed

 

 

Ron Parent discussed repaving Troy parking area.  Test bores requested by committee were done and not much debris was found.  2 bids were submitted to repave … the committee decided to go over the Mt. C roof project before decided on Troy.

 

Motion by C. Dreyfuss to accept bid of $21,144 plus 10% contingence from Melanson Co. to do the roof at Mt. C school.  – 2nd J. Kenyon   -  Passed.

 

Motion by J. Kenyon to table the Troy paving project – passed.  No action taken committee requested Ron Parent to get cost of ADA ramp, drains and sidewalks.

 

Ron Parent discussed redoing the entry doors @ the high school.  Motion B. Tatro to proceed no 2nd.  Motion by J Kenyon to pass over the door issue for now and have Wayne Kassotis discuss safety issues on MRHS and door issues at next meeting.  2nd  C. Dreyfuss -  Passed.   Mr. Kassotis also will discuss master key system.

 

C Dreyfuss reported that she had called HL Turner and was to call back in 3 weeks to get cost of Hinsdale MPR and blueprints.  She also reported that Turner had $1745.00 left for traffic study.  Marinace still needs to talk to committee about Mt. C and troy blue prints.

 

L. Biron to give email of Jan. 10th to Ron Parent.  Ron Parent to talk to Marinace about material for awning for the wood shop not to exceed remaining money.

 

Next meeting July 18th at 7pm… board room
