Approval of Minutes: No minutes to approve
Public Comments: No public comments .this was a "special"
meeting with the
intention of presenting KB with the comments/concerns/thoughts etc. from the
MS/HS staff relative to the plans, (referred to as Option 1 and Option 2).
Commentary: Joe Smith, HS Principal, reports that he posted the
plans/options in the teachers lounge/lunch room and solicited
opinions/thoughts from them in this manner. Written comments etc. were
collected and formulated into a page of notes from Joe
The overall consensus is that Option 1 is preferable to Option 2---this
based solely on the comments turned in.
Representatives from the Science, Athletic and Arts and Music spoke to the
committee.
One comment of note was this; the NEASC report indicates that we are 100%
utilization of this building. Will adding on, or seeing through one of
these options lower that-will that percentage improve with new construction
